10 Best Restaurants In OC Restaurant Week 2023

OC Restaurant week is coming in a few weeks. OC restaurant week has been going on for 15 years in Orange County and it highlights all the new and well established restaurants. This year it starts on March 5-11. Participating restaurants throughout Orange County put out special menus for the event. Lucky for you the restaurants are all over Orange County and you can enjoy some great food. Here is my list of the restaurants I love that have participated for the event.

1. Benchmark

Benchmark is a modern restaurant that offers a upscale casual menu and a great place to have a nice date night. I love their Gochuchang fried chicken and waffles, Bavarian pretzel, the tomahawk steak, and brown butter cake. They are offering a three course dinner and the menu looks amazing. I will definitely stop by to have dinner during the week.

2. Brunos Italian Kitchen

I love the food at Brunos. The braised short rib, fritto misto, flat iron steak, and chocolate ganache are pretty amazing. Brunos Italian Kitchen are offering a three course menu. The fritto misto, flat iron, and budino will be the course I pick that week.

3. Cambalache Grill

Cambalache Grill has great empanadas, paella mixta, parrillada mixta, and tiramasu. They have not placed the menu for OC restaurant week, but I am guessing it will be really good cuts of meat, delicious starters, and decadent desserts.

4. Farmhouse at Roger’s Garden

Farmhouse at Roger’s Garden is a peaceful place to dine. The food is fresh from the farmer’s market and the menu is seasonal. It is a great place for a night out or to enjoy with some good friends and family. I recommend the recommend the herb roast jidori chicken, flat iron steak, Asian rib lettuce wrap, or the steak sandwich. They have not submitted there menu for restaurant week, but there is no doubt the menu will be stellar.

5. Scratch Bakery

Now if you have read my blogs or follow me on social media you will probably notice I talk a lot about this place. Scratch is one my favorite bakeries and breakfast spots in Orange County. Everything from their cakes, creme puffs, breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, and breakfast burrito the food is pretty amazing. They are offering and breakfast and lunch for two. Either menu is pretty great.

6. Sol Agave

Sol Agave has two locations in Orange County participating during the week. The shrimp taquitos, carnitas plate (I ask for it crispy), chile colorado, and chipotle ribs are my go to. They are offering a cocktail and three course meal for lunch and dinner.

7. Summit House Restaurant

Summit House is a great restaurant in Fullerton. The prime rib with au jus and bread pudding is really good. I also love the Cheaspeake crab cakes and dessert sampler if you have room. During Orange County restaurant week they are offering a cocktail, wine pairing, and three course meal. Looking at the menu I don’t think you will be disappointed.

8. The Beachcomber Cafe at Crystal Cove

The Beachcomber Cafe is a great place to enjoy a nice breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I highly recommend the breakfast crab cakes, clam chowder, Kobe burger, fish and chips, and beignets with a scoop of ice cream. They are offering a two course menu for lunch and three course for dinner.

9. The Winery Restaurant

The Winery restaurant is a great place to eat in the District in Tustin. Their burger, pork belly lollipops, and unique menu items really make this place stand out. During they year the Winery offers cuts of meat like elk, bison, boar, etc… and it is pretty delicious. For restaurant week They are featuring a few cocktails and three course meals for lunch and dinner.

10. Wursthaus

Wursthaus is a great place to itch your need for a good sausage or hot dog. The selections of sausage is pretty great. The wagyu beef, smoked bratwurst, hot dog, duck and bacon sausage, and the sampler are some of my favorites. During Orange County restaurant week they are offering a sausage, fries, and beverage. If you are near Santa Ana I recommend heading over in March.
