If you’re seeking panoramic views that will leave you breathless (in a good way), head to Top of the World in Laguna Beach. This iconic trail lives up to its name, offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Island, and the surrounding hills on a clear day. The hike itself is moderate, with some uphill sections, but the payoff at the top is totally worth it. You can’t beat the views of the coast and it’s one of my favorite hikes to do in Southern California. Pro tip: Go at sunset for an unforgettable experience!

.

Crystal Cove State Park – Newport Beach:

Crystal Cove State Park boasts over 17 miles of trails that wind through pristine coastal wilderness, offering hikers a chance to explore the Newport Coast and spot local wildlife in the lush canyons. Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains, Santiago Oaks Regional Park is a great spot to hike with over 20 miles of trails to explore. Whether you’re seeking a leisurely stroll along shaded creeks, or challenging steep inclines to scenic overlooks, this park has it all.
