Have you started to plan to see the Fireworks display? Well if you live in Orange County here are some great places to watch fireworks and have a 4th of July celebration.

 

Aliso Viejo Celebration & Fireworks

The celebration starts at 6 pm- 9:30 pm. There will be a live band, children’s crafts, face painting, Balloon Twisters, Airbrush tattoos, and games for the kids. There will be live music. Make sure to bring out your low lawn chairs and picnic blankets.

Ladera Ranch July 4th Event

If you don’t mind driving inland from Laguna, the city puts on a great July 4th event at the Founder’s Park.

The events start at 7 am with 10k and 5k runs. They serve a pancake breakfast from 7:45 am to 11:30 am. Ladera Ranch has a community parade starting at 10 am.

Starting at 3 pm the other festivities will begin. There will be carnival games, face painting, a giant slide, a bungee, a rock wall, a zip line, Orbitron, a race game trailer, the Wizzer, live entertainment, and food trucks. At 9 pm the fireworks show will begin.

Laguna Beach Heisler Park

It is an all-day event. Come to the beach early and enjoy the sun and you can get a great place to sit and watch the spectacular fireworks display. There are parking fees and you can try to find free parking on the street.

They have trolleys available to get to Laguna Beach. The trolley rides start from 9 am to 7 pm. The fireworks display starts at 9 pm. The fireworks display is located at Heisler Park in the Monument Point area.

Laguna Hills 4th of July Celebrations

This is held at the Laguna Hills Community Center and Sports Complex. Activities start in the early afternoon and last until the fireworks show.

They have carnival games, carnival rides, live music, face painting, patriotic crafts, and food vendor booths. There is plenty of parking around the community center and sports park. Make sure you get there early enough to set your lawn chairs or blankets out for the city fireworks show.

Laguna Niguel 4th of July Festivities

Come to Crown Valley Community Park to celebrate independence day. They serve a pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am-10:30 am. 5K run starting at 8 am. Live entertainment from 6 pm-8 pm and free swimming at Laguna Niguel Aquatic Center. Starting at 8 pm the city fireworks show begins.

This is a free community festival. It is a great place to celebrate independence day. There are so many kid’s activities, food trucks, and free entertainment.

Mission Viejo Annual Street Faire & Fireworks Spectacular

The event starts at Noon and ends at 9:30 pm. The fireworks display starts at 9 pm. There will be food vendors, game booths, live music, rides, and kids’ activities all day. They offer free shuttles to the event if you park away from the event.

Address: The event is happening on Olympiad Road between Marguerite Parkway and Melinda Road in Mission Viejo.

 

Newport Beach 4th of July Events

Newport Peninsula Bike Parade

Starts at 9 am at W. Balboa blvd and 36th Street. It is a great community parade. You can decorate your bikes for the July 4th celebration.

That will lead to the Community festival from 9:30 am-11:30 am. There will be carnival games, Lawn games, music, Arts and Crafts, and food vendors.

The Community festival is located at 4400 Channel Place. The Channel Place park.

July 4 Fireworks Cruises with Cruises Newport Beach

This is a cool event if you can book tickets in time. They go fast. There are two options. There is the 4th of July Cruise and the fireworks display cruise.

The 4th of July cruise will take around 2.5 hours and take you along the Old Glory Boat parade route and Newport Bay. You will see luxury yachts, ships, and beautiful homes decorated for the 4th of July. They have drinks and appetizers aboard. The cruise goes from 4 pm- 6:30 pm.

The fireworks cruise will take you from Newport Harbor and take you along to see the beautiful beaches of Corona Del Mar and Laguna Beach. When it starts to hit sunset the boat will place itself in a prime location to see all the beautiful fireworks displayed around the beach area. You can see the fireworks show from coastal cities like Dana Point (Dana Point Harbor and San Clemente. FYI, they do have cruises for New Year’s Eve.

This is an amazing way to spend the 4th of July. If you are in Orange County you should try to plan your next patriotic celebration with Cruise Newport Beach.

San Juan Capistrano 4th of July Summer Carnival & Fireworks

Celebrate Independence Day at the San Juan Capistrano Sports Park. There will be games, food vendors, live music, a beer and wine garden, and carnival rides. The event starts at Noon and ends at 10:30 pm. The fireworks display starts at 9 pm. For more information, click here.
