Night Markets In Orange County

One of my favorite things to do in Orange County is visit one of the vibrant, bustling, open-air night markets! The delicious street food, fun carnival games, arts and crafts vendors, and live music all create a truly unique atmosphere. It’s definitely the place to be on summer nights in OC!

Night markets are not only great for shopping, but they also serve as social gathering spots. And the best part about living in Orange County? You’ve got so many night markets to choose from, with events happening on different dates (we even have a weekend night market)!

Our community is so lucky to have so many night markets to enjoy this time of year. Keep reading to check out the full list of night market events happening in the OC!

626 Night Market

Known as the OG, this event helped shape the Orange County night markets into what they are today. Over the years, it’s gained popularity and become a go-to spot for people to enjoy food, entertainment, and a truly unique cultural experience. Usually held during the summer months, the event is named after the “626” area code, which covers parts of the San Gabriel Valley, home to many Asian communities.

One of the best parts of this night market is the amazing local Asian food. You can indulge in freshly prepared meals, snacks, desserts, and drinks. Some of my favorites include hand-shaken noodles, crispy fried lumpia, potato swirl, and fried Spam musubi!

The weekend night market takes place at the Orange County Fairgrounds. And not only is the food fantastic, but visitors can also enjoy great live music, fun games, and talented art vendors. It’s the perfect place to experience and celebrate the cultural diversity of the area!

If you can’t make it to the 626 Night Market in Orange County, the good news is that organizers host events at plenty of other locations in California throughout the summer months. The community holds night markets in the following cities:

Huntington Beach Surf City Nights

The city of Huntington Beach, which is often referred to as “Surf City USA” due to its strong association with surfing and beach culture, hosts a recurring market held every Tuesday night throughout the entire year! It truly is a lively experience for everyone that attends these events! These OC night markets have been entirely revamped and are held every Friday from 10 am- 6 pm at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza.

The vendors sell both amazing street food, as well as sell different handcrafted or natural/organic skin care products. Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of cuisines, from classic American fare to international dishes and amazing treats.

They also have live music and other vendors that host a great farmer’s market with a variety of fresh fruit and produce. If you are in the area, you definitely need to drop by and support all the small business owners at this one-of-a-kind night market.

The organizers put together some fun activities for kids, such as face painting and interactive games, making it an enjoyable night market outing for families. So this is a really a wonderful event for adults and kids of all ages!

Little Saigon Night Market Westminster

One of the most vibrant and popular night markets in OC is at the Little Saigon Night Market! The event is held in the heart of Little Saigon at the beautiful Asian Garden Mall in Westminster.

Little Saigon is a hub of Vietnamese culture and heritage. The night market reflects this rich cultural through its food, local vendors, and live entertainment. And the organizers do a phenomenal job of putting all this together during the summer months.

I’ve already attended this event this year, and the night market is known for its authentic Vietnamese street food offerings. It didn’t disappoint! Everything was delicious… from the grilled pork kabobs, lobster skewer, grilled squid, giant grilled prawns, to the yummy Vietnamese pizza. I seriously give all the food I ate 5 stars!

Not only is the food to-die-for, but there’s live music and vendors that offer a variety of clothing, accessories, jewelry, traditional crafts, and other products. Something for everyone!
