2023 Free Concerts In Orange County

One of the best things about living in Orange County is all the free events that are offered year-round! And this definitely includes so many fun activities to take advantage of during the summer months. The annual OC Parks summer concert series is one of my favorite events…. perfect for all ages! Throughout the summer, they have a free concert series, and I seriously love to attend and listen to live music in Orange County. This is seriously a favorite summer pastime of mine. It brings back so many happy memories! And who doesn’t enjoy free concerts (and free parking)?

A great thing about the summer concert series is that they happen during the coolest parts of the day, so you don’t have to worry about getting too hot. Plus, many of the locations offer the best atmosphere (at some of my favorite regional parks) to enjoy a night out! The outdoor concerts have red-hot tribute bands that play classic rock or today’s favorites. If you are in the mood for a free summer concert, keep reading to see what’s happening in many of the Orange and OC parks.

Aliso Viejo

Summer Concerts in the park at Aliso Viejo

One of my favorite regional parks, this summer concert series takes place at the amazing Grand Park Town Center Amphitheater.

Be sure to pack up your blankets and low lawn chairs so that you are comfortable during the live music event. Note: You will need to allow the volunteers time (7:30 pm) to mark the fire lines and booths, so please keep this in mind when you are planning your arrival.

Metro Pointe Entertainment Series

This is another great place to experience an OC Parks summer concert series! These events are held from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and the stage is faced with all the restaurants. Keep this in mind if you’re wanting to enjoy dinner before the concert begins!

OC Parks Summer Concert Series – Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach

This truly a great place to experience local musicians! Head to the park early for these free summer concerts, because the live music begins right at 6 pm.

Dana Point Concerts in the Park

The concerts at this amazing location will be held behind the Dana Point Library on the Sea Terrace Park off the Pacific Coast Highway and Niguel Road.

Irvine

Irvine Summer Concert Series

This summer concert series is held at the beautiful Mike Ward Community Park. To make this an enjoyable experience, you can bring your own blanket, food, and drinks. But for those that don’t want to pack a picnic, there are also plenty of food trucks available at the park. They also have VIP seating available, but keep in mind that there will be a fee to reserve these seats. Be sure to get there early because the live music begins at 6 pm!

Laguna Niguel Concerts in the Park

The Laguna Niguel concerts in the park are located at the Laguna Niguel Regional Park. Just a quick note, parking at the event can be a problem, so be sure to plan accordingly. There are shuttles that are available from city hall off Crown Valley Parkway (located at 30111 Crown Valley Parkway). There’s also food trucks available at the event, and the live music begins each night at 6:30 pm. See you there!

Newport Beach Concerts on the Green

The Newport Beach Concerts in the park are held every summer, and these wonderful events offer free parking and gourmet food trucks! But if you’d like to pack your own food, you can also bring a picnic dinner. Make sure to bring a blanket or a lawn chair to enjoy this free summer concert. And don’t forget that the live music begins at 6 pm.!

OC Parks Summer Concert Series

Mark your calendar for a live summer concert series held at several Orange and OC parks! The music takes place from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. These amazing OC parks summer concert series are a great place to enjoy free concerts and movie. There is also free parking! Nothing better than a night of summer music with the family!

Music on Meadow

Make your way out to the Meadow in San Clemente to enjoy the free summer concerts and delicious food trucks! The summer concert series is held on select Thursday nights throughout the summer. The free family-friendly concerts begin at 6 pm. Free parking will also be offered. And don’t forget the lawn chairs and blankets!
