5 Best Taco Spots In Orange County

Who doesn’t love crispy tender meat with cilantro, onions, and homemade salsa on a warm corn tortilla?! If you’re like me, you just can’t get enough of tacos! Every day is Taco Tuesday in Orange County, because there are so many places to enjoy Mexican cuisine (and of course a great taco)! I’m always searching and finding new places to enjoy amazing tacos with the family.

Navarro Taqueria

The birria taco and the carne asada tacos plate are my go-tos at Navarro! And my tip… make sure you order consome with the birria tacos so you can dip the tacos in the soup. Seriously soooo good! If you are a vegetarian, they also have something on the menu for you like the potato tacos. They are really great! Oh, and make sure to try their mulitas. The shredded meat and melted cheese make it one of the best meals in Orange County!

Tacos Manuel

Tacos Manuel hands down has some of the best tacos in Orange County. My favorite is their chicken street tacos with plenty of shredded chicken paired with grilled onions and jalapenos. These toppings add so much flavor to a great chicken taco plate!

The carne asada, carnitas tacos, queso fresco, and al pastor tacos are pretty great as well. Make sure to add the salsa and grilled onions or the jalapenos for some extra spice. It makes the flavor of the tacos so good… especially the chicken tacos!

Sal's Taco A La Mexicana

If you love to eat tacos like me, the carnitas taco, carne asada plate, al pastor tacos, shrimp tacos, and mulitas are absolutely amazing. And if you beef tongue, you have to try the lengua tacos. Another favorite is the keto tacos, which are so delicious. Another perk to this amazing taco restaurant is that they have great service. Plus, the salsa bar is good, and the aqua Fresca is pretty delicious as well!

El Yaqui Tacos y Mariscos

If you’re looking for some authentic Mexican food, the seafood tacos and tostadas are amazing here! This fun taco truck has fantastic food, including the tostada de jaiba, taco de camaron, and ceviche de pescado. All favorites of mine to order from the truck. One thing to note is that the tacos are a bit pricey compared to your regular al pastor tacos or carnitas tacos, but the price is worth all the seafood you get. Bonus… they do have taco Tuesdays specials!

Taqueria El Zamorano

This taqueria sells some of the best carnitas tacos and al pastor tacos in Orange County. Why? Because all their tacos are made with a homemade flour tortilla. Another menu item you can’t miss is their crispy potato tacos and fish tacos. If you are in the mood for tacos, you should most definitely hit up Taqueria El Zamorano!
