Valentine’s day is a month and a half away. Finding the perfect destination to celebrate Valentine’s day can get pretty overwhelming. Trying to find amazing food, great service, and a restaurant that will create a romantic dinner and classy dining experience can be daunting. Here are the five best restaurants to celebrate Valentine’s day in Orange County.

1. The Loft Montage Laguna Beach

The Loft offers an amazing evening with a four-course special menu on Valentine’s Day. Everything from the baby gem salad, to braised C.A.B short rib, pan-seared branzino, and pink macaron will make your time dining with the Loft fly by. There is an optional wine pairing for $55 dollars. The Loft food is absolutely delicious and it is a great place to celebrate your special Valentine’s day dinner or even a date night.

2. The Ranch Anaheim

The Ranch restaurant offers a four-course menu. The Ranch is a great restaurant. The Ranch petite filet mignon, tomahawk steak, New york steak, sides, and seasonal dishes are truly something to enjoy. Make sure to save room for dessert. The Valentine’s day menu is awesome as their regular menu. The white asparagus with serrano ham, coconut shrimp curry, filet and lobster tail, and old fashion pecan pie on the 2022 menu was great food. I advise setting your reservations early for Valentine’s weekend. The spots can get filled pretty fast.

3. The Winery Newport Beach

The Winery restaurant has one other location in Orange County. I love this location because you see the ocean and beautiful yachts in the Newport Beach docks. They offer a three-course menu with dessert. The Maine lobster bisque, braised short ribs, and seared sea scallops with wild white shrimp are really great.

4. AnQi Bistro Costa Mesa

AnQi Bistro is located in the South Coast Plaza right next to the Bloomingdales. If you looking to have a romantic meal you should head over to AnQi. The design and atmosphere of the location are nice. I recommend the lemon grass scallops, zabuton steak, and of course the famous garlic noodles. On second thought…if you want to repel your better half then I would limit the garlic noodle for another time.

5. Marche Moderne Newport Beach

The food on their regular menu at March Moderne is amazing. The scallops sashimi, roasted lamb ribeye, or risotto are excellent dishes. On Valentine’s Day, they offer a special three-course menu with a heart-shaped macaron to finish the meal. A champagne toast is offered for an extra cost.
