5 Easiest Places For Pictures With Santa In Orange County

Christmas will be here before we know it! And you know what that means… pictures with Santa! Pictures with Santa are a cherished holiday tradition that allows families to create lasting memories and capture the magic of Christmas. Whether it’s the excitement of meeting Santa, exploring Santa’s village, seeing the giant Christmas tree, or the joy of having a keepsake photo, this tradition has become one of the best parts of the holiday season for many people around the world.

But one thing is for sure. We want to get the pictures without the anxiety of taking a holiday card-worthy photo, the meltdown of the kids, and the crazy long wait times. To help you prepare for holiday wishes ahead of time, I put together a list of the five places in Orange County to get the Santa photos you want, without the crazy long wait or hard-to-find parking.

The Shops At Mission Viejo

If you are wanting to find Santa pictures, the first place to start is at The Shops at Mission Viejo. The good news about this location, is if you time it right, you can get fun Christmas photos with Santa Claus pretty easily. There is ample parking the mall, and even better is that its close to where Santa’s workshop is located.

Photos with Santa are available starting on December 8th and running right up to December 23rd, 2023. Times vary from 10 am -7 pm or 11 am- 7 pm, so be sure to double check before you arrive. This is a great location to see Saint Nick, and while you are at The Shops, you can also get some Christmas shopping done and grab a bite to eat as well! Win win!

Outlets At San Clemente

Another pretty cool place to get photos with Santa in the Orange County area, is at the Outlets at San Clemente. This location is perfect, because there is a large parking lot, great places to shop, and fantastic places to eat after you are finished taking photos.

The Outlets are located at Suite 420 next to VLX and Nautica. You can experience a little holiday cheer here early, since visits with Santa begin November 18 and run until December 24, 2023. The picture hours are from 12 pm – 6 pm, while they have special holiday hours on Christmas Eve from 10 am – 2 pm.

Fashion Island Newport Beach

It may not be the North Pole, but Fashion Island in Newport Beach is a great place to shop, enjoy a bite to eat, and visit Santa of course! There’s plenty of parking, or they also have valet if you prefer. Photos with Santa begin on November 18, and go through December 24, 2023. The hours are 11 am – 7 pm Monday – Saturday. And on Sunday the hours are 12 pm – 6 pm.

My tip: I would try to go during the week if you can to avoid the crowds. They have a variety of photo packages available, and the package’s price is based on having different-sized prints, as well as digital copies.

Bella Terra Huntington Beach

Bella Terra is a great shopping center to visit to meet Santa, and take lots of professional photos with him! There is plenty of parking spaces, and usually not a long wait so the photos go pretty quickly. The best part is that if you know when you plan to go, you can skip the line by booking an appointment!

The kids can take a photo sitting on Santa’s lap, and what I love about this experience is that you can also take photos on large Christmas gift boxes, or with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on their sleigh. It’s so cute! Photo packages vary based on print sizes, as well as if you want digital copies. Pictures with Santa begin on November 18 and go through December 24, 2023. The hours are 11:30 am – 7:30 pm.

The Market Place In Tustin

Bella Terra is a great shopping center to visit to meet Santa, and take lots of professional photos with him! There is plenty of parking spaces, and usually not a long wait so the photos go pretty quickly. The best part is that if you know when you plan to go, you can skip the line by booking an appointment!
