Best Bakeries in Laguna Hills

The bakery items from the English muffin (OMG! this is the best English muffin I have ever had), fresh baked Marble Rye bread, large milk chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, sweet Chocolate eclair, sugary Tiger roll, warm and gooey chocolate brownie with milk chocolate shavings on top, and individual servings of cakes are amazing.

If you have time to sit down for breakfast or lunch, I recommend trying their Ronnie G (the fried egg, provolone cheese, and house-cured pastrami is awesome) or the BBLT sandwich and during breakfast, the burrito or breakfast sandwiches are great. The jalapeno cheddar biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict are to die for as well. FYI, it is only served on Saturday and Sunday.  They do offer a sugar-free and to my surprise, it is a pretty delicious gluten-free donut.

If you plan to pick up a cake or dessert on the weekend just know the lines can go out the door and the wait can be long. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Scratch offers seats outside and can handle a big family. They serve coffee, tea, juices, and soda.

Scratch does deliver and can order takeout. They serve breakfast and lunch until 3 pm.

If you plan to order any cakes you must give them 7 days’ advance notice. They did allow you to create custom cakes however, they have paused for now. You can create cakes with the main flavors they have available.
