Best Holiday Ham In Orange County

Holiday ham is one of my favorite dishes. I look forward to eating it during the holidays, especially for Thanksgiving and Easter. Who does not love a juicy, succulent, roasted ham glazed with brown sugar, honey, and bourbon, and dressed with pineapples and Maraschino cherries? The beautiful thing about the holiday ham is that it can feed a large family and still have leftovers for breakfast, deli meat for sandwiches, or another ham dinner for the next few days.

Here are my favorite places in Orange County and online that serve a great ham.

Stefano's Golden Baked Ham

Stefano’s Golden Baked Ham serves amazing ham. The ham is fresh and has the right balance of salty and sweet. If you nearby their Yorba Linda location I highly recommend trying a sandwich or two. The Golden Baked Ham sandwich or the Cubano is really good.

You can order full holiday dinners along with honey-baked ham. You can also order a bone-in turkey, a herb-crusted prime rib, and amazing side dishes ala carte. The meals come with warming instructions. Make sure to order today. They need some advance notice to prepare and send out the holiday dinners.

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

Lucille’s Coca-Cola Glazed is absolutely amazing. The combination of the glaze, rub, and smoked flavor of the ham is off-the-charts great. I will be honest I have turned away from Lucille’s in regards to their other smoked meats, but I have to say that Coca-Cola glazed ham is something else. The side dishes are also pretty darn good.

They do serve turkey and their normal smoked meats (tri-tip, brisket, sausages, etc…) Make sure to make reservations days ahead of time. Lucille’s can get pretty busy and have long lines during the holiday season. Especially the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving day, and Christmas.

Snake River Farms Kurobuta Ham

If you are in the mood to pay some extra money for a delicious ham. Snake River Farms really delivers quality ham. They can deliver you a frozen ham from their farm anywhere in the country. The only downside is that the ham is not pre-cooked. I think it is worth the purchase because your taste buds will love you for getting such a succulent and flavorful ham.

They sell whole hams, whole bone hams, half bone-in hams, or boneless half hams. They sell the ham all year round. The whole medium bone-in ham served 16 people. There were also plenty of leftovers for my guest to take home and for me to make awesome slice ham and cheese sandwiches for days.

FYI: They also sell amazing bacon.

Honey Baked Ham Company

Honey-baked ham has been around for a long time. It still pre-cooks a great ham. Now if you are looking for a simple ham that is not smoked or has a special rub or glaze this is a great place to get your holiday ham.

The ham comes with cooking instructions, it is easy to prepare and can feed large families. The great thing about Honey Baked Ham company is that they have multiple storefronts to visit.
