Nellie Gail Christmas Lights

Something that I love about this community is the amount of effort and time that goes into making the holiday lights special each and every year! It is seriously amazing the planning and preparations that Nellie Gail residents go through to put out some of the best Orange County Christmas lights. From dancing led lights to fun displays featuring Charlie Brown, to spectacular Christmas light shows, this neighborhood knows how to have a Merry Christmas!

One of my favorite memories is from back in 2021, when a resident sprinkled his home with a ton of holiday lights, and even created a light show along with giant Christmas-themed Star Wars inflatables right in his front yard off of Nellie Gail Road in Laguna Hills. Another home off of Gallup, creates the North Pole with an entire village dedicated to Christmas elves and lights.

And if you’re into Christmas movies, a resident on the corner of Mustang and Nellie Gail Road in Laguna Hills, created a beautiful Christmas light display and did a movie projection through the second-floor main window showing old classic Christmas Disney movies and cartoons. This was truly the best part of Christmas 2020 for my family!

Just like most neighborhoods, there’s always that one house that goes above and beyond, and puts up thousands of lights on the home to make it a true Christmas experience for people driving by!

One of the best tips when visiting the neighborhood, is to make sure to turn on your car radio to the AM channel so you can hear the music while the family takes in the lights and moving elf displays!
