5 Best BBQ Spots In Orange County

When it comes to barbecue, Orange County boasts a mouthwatering array of options that cater to every carnivore’s craving. From finger-licking ribs to tender brisket, the county’s BBQ scene offers a diverse range of flavors and styles. Whether you’re a seasoned pitmaster or a barbecue enthusiast looking for your next fix, Orange County has something to satisfy your BBQ desires.

Blake's Place Cafe & Catering

Blake’s Place is a great casual BBQ restaurant in Anaheim California. If you’re looking for a place with delicious food, be sure to check them out! They have everything from beef brisket, beef ribs, BBQ chicken, tangy coleslaw (a fan favorite), sausage, baked beans, and crispy fries. It’s all so, so, good! If you have room, I highly recommend trying out their desserts. Their banana pudding is to die for!! The service is great and they also give generous portions! There’s plenty of parking and if you have any event try out their catering option.

Smoqued BBQ

Located in Orange, Smoqued BBQ combines traditional barbecue techniques with modern flair. Their menu is packed with creative offerings, such as the smoked duck breast and the BBQ nachos topped with pulled pork (and can’t forget the barbecue sauce). I highly recommend trying the deviled eggs to start with, then the brisket, pork, and spare ribs. The brisket is most definitely a standout here, featuring a perfect smoke ring, bark, and juicy interior. With live music and a lively atmosphere, Smoqued BBQ is the perfect spot to enjoy great food and good company!

Smoke & Fire Social Eatery

One of the best BBQ restaurants, if you happen to be in the city of La Habra, I recommend trying out Smoke and Fire Social Eatery. The brisket tacos, smoked brisket, mac n mac burger, and Nashville Hot Chicken are great! And make sure to get the order of the fries. You will not be sorry! Lastly, if you have room for dessert, try their Mud Pie!

Heritage Barbecue

Barbecue enthusiasts love Heritage BBQ, because of their amazing options, and delicious food. If you ever stop in San Juan Capistrano Mission, definitely try out Heritage BBQ! Their BBQ balances the perfect amount of flavor and tenderness. I think it’s one of the best barbecue restaurants in Southern California. I highly recommend trying out the Texas-style brisket, St Louis-style ribs, sausage, or pulled pork. The location is great place to spend time with family, getting drinks with friends, and a place to come for special occasions. So much good food to choose from!

Smoke Point BBQ

Located in San Juan, the restaurant provides a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for BBQ enthusiasts looking for a night out, or a good lunch. They really commit themselves to traditional smoking techniques. Smoke Point is a solid choice for a great BBQ and I recommend you try their smoked brisket, sausages, smoked chicken wings, and ribs. And don’t forget to get some of their great sides! I love their smoked baked beans, mac and cheese, and jalapeño cornbread (order an extra side order for sure). Their sandwiches are some of the best!
