Laguna Hills Fireworks 2023

The Fourth of July is approaching fast! And fortunately, there are plenty of options for enjoying fireworks in Orange County! You can visit Cypress College or Doheny State Beach for a spectacular light show. Another fantastic choice is Anaheim, where you can witness the fireworks at Disneyland!

Whether you reside in Orange County or are planning a visit, here are some wonderful places to celebrate Independence Day and watch fireworks!

Aliso Viejo Celebration & Fireworks

The Fourth of July celebration starts at 6 pm on July 4, 2024 and it’s sure to be a fun time with a live band, children’s crafts, face painting, Balloon Twisters, Airbrush tattoos, and games for the kids. Plenty of things to do around the family fun area! Make sure to bring out your low lawn chairs and picnic blankets for comfortable seating to enjoy the show.

Ladera Ranch July 4th Event

If you don’t mind driving inland from Laguna, the city puts on a great July 4th event at the Founder’s Park with the event kicking off at 7 am with 10k and 5k runs. They also serve a pancake breakfast from 7:45 am to 11:30 am. And attendees can also enjoy the Ladera Ranch community parade starting at 10 am.

Then, enjoy the afternoon at 3 pm as the other festivities of the day will begin. There will be a great line up of carnival games, face painting, a giant slide, a bungee, rock wall climbing, zip line, Orbitron, a race game trailer, the Wizzer, live entertainment, and food trucks. So much fun! And then stay for the fireworks show at 9pm. Definitely a fun filled July 4 for all!

Laguna Beach Heisler Park

Join in on this all-day event to celebrate the day! Get to the beach early and enjoy the sun, and then get the first pick for a great spot to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display! Keep in mind that there are parking fees, but if you get there early enough, you can try to find free parking on the street.

The good news is that they have trolleys available to get to Laguna Beach! The trolley rides start from 9 am and run until 7 pm. The fireworks display is located at Heisler Park in the Monument Point area, and will start right at 9pm. It’s going to be an amazing event!

Laguna Hills 4th of July Celebrations

If this is anything like the Laguna Hills fireworks 2023, this will be the highlight of your summer! The event is held at the Laguna Hills Community Center and Sports Complex, with activities starting in the early afternoon and lasting until the fireworks show.

Be ready for some fun carnival games, carnival rides, live music, face painting, patriotic crafts, and food vendor booths! There is plenty of parking around the community center and sports park, but make sure you get there early enough to set your lawn chairs or blankets out for the city fireworks show.

Laguna Niguel 4th of July Festivities

Come to Crown Valley Community Park to celebrate Independence Day, starting with a pancake breakfast at 7:30 am-10:30 am. Or if you’re wanting to start your day off with a run, the 5K kicks off at 8 am. Guests can enjoy plenty of live entertainment from 6 pm-8 pm, plus there’s free swimming at Laguna Niguel Aquatic Center. Then the highlight of the day, is the city fireworks show at 8pm.

Even better, this amazing event is a free community festival, and it’s truly a great place to celebrate Independence Day. There are so many kid’s activities, food trucks, a patriotic flyover, a free lap recreation swim at the Laguna Niguel Aquatic Center, and free entertainment! A can’t miss day for sure!

Mission Viejo Annual Street Faire & Fireworks Spectacular

Join in for some fun starting at Noon and running until 9:30 pm! The fireworks display starts at 9 pm, and there will be tons of food vendors, game booths, live music, rides, and kids’ activities all day on the 4th. They also offer free shuttles to the event if you park away from the event, which makes it nice if you are traveling with your family!

Address: The event is happening on Olympiad Road between Marguerite Parkway and Melinda Road in Mission Viejo.

Newport Beach 4th of July Events

Newport Peninsula Bike Parade

This fun bike parade kicks off at 9 am at W. Balboa Blvd and 36th Street. Join in on this great community parade, where you can decorate your bikes for the July 4th celebration! Such a festive way to enjoy the holiday!

Once the bike parade ends, attendees will also be able to enjoy the community festival from 9:30 am-11:30 am where there will be carnival games, lawn games, music, arts and crafts, and yummy vendors!

JULY 4 FIREWORKS CRUISES WITH CRUISES NEWPORT BEACH

Definitely one of the best Orange County events if you are able to book tickets in time! The boats go really fast, and it’s such a fun sight to see! Keep in mind that there are two options for the day, including the 4th of July Cruise and the fireworks display cruise. Keep reading for more info!

The 4th of July cruise is around 2.5 hours, and will take you along the Old Glory Boat parade route and Newport Bay. On this cruise, you’ll see luxury yachts, ships, and beautiful homes all decorated for the 4th of July! They have plenty drinks and appetizers aboard, so you won’t go hungry! The cruise starts at 4 pm and ends at 6:30 pm.

Up next, the fireworks cruise will take you from Newport Harbor and you’ll cruise along to see the beautiful beaches of Corona Del Mar and Laguna Beach. When the sky starts to set for the day, and sunset is approaching, the boat will park in a prime location to see all the beautiful fireworks displayed around the beach area. You can see the fireworks show all the way from coastal cities like Dana Point (at Dana Point Harbor) and even from San Clemente. Oh, and just an FYI, they also have cruises for New Year’s Eve so keep this in mind if you’re looking for a fun night out for a NYE party with a champagne toast included!

San Juan Capistrano 4th of July Summer Carnival & Fireworks

Celebrate Independence Day at the San Juan Capistrano Sports Park for fun games, food vendors, live music, multiple bounce houses, a mechanical car ride, contests, a beer and wine garden, and carnival rides! Fun for all ages! The event starts at 2pm and ends at 9:30 pm. The fireworks display will be at 9 pm.
