St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and there’s plenty of festivities that are happening over the next few days to celebrate the holiday! What’s fun about living here, is that most of the cities in Orange County have fun events happening throughout the entire weekend. No matter if you love the corned beef Reuben sandwiches, authentic Irish cuisine, live music, lively folk dances, green beer, or dressing up in fun green outfits, there’s tons of things to do!

Irish Fest at the Old World Biergarten

Come out to Huntington Beach Old World Biergarten to chow down on Irish stew and corned beef cabbage, and celebrate Celtic culture with a live Irish band and a U2 cover band… a great mix of modern and traditional music. The St. Patrick’s Day events are happening from March 13-17th. And on Sunday you can even learn a traditional Irish dance. Make sure you wear green! The live entertainment, traditional corn beef and cabbage, and Irish stew are definitely worth checking out!

St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl in Santa Ana

If you’re looking for a great pub crawl, Santa Ana has an excellent one for you! The pub crawl starts at 4 pm, and it’s recommended to arrive by 5 pm to maximize the fun. It kicks off at Congregation Bar and then moves on to Proof, Chapter One, Mission Bar, Mission Control, and then finishes up at Twisted Tiki. Tickets are $15 per person. This is a great deal, and it definitely provides a way to try all the different drinks at each bar! The event tends to sell out quickly, so be sure to reserve your ticket soon!

Pretend City St. Patrick's Day

Pretend City is a fantastic place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the entire family! There is a kid’s craft table where kiddos can cut out and decorate their own shamrock. There is also a story time, and watercolors to paint your own rainbow. Finally, the kids will also get to learn how to trap a leprechaun. So much fun! Bella Terra has a weekend-long St. Patrick’s Day event in Orange County where attendees can visit with over 25 creative artisan vendors, enjoy live Irish folk music, sample green beer, find plenty of food vendors, do a character meet and greet, plus so many other fun activities for the kids. Come down to Hangar 24 Craft Brewing to enjoy a live Irish band, full bar, food, craft stations, and bounce houses, plus shop from 40 different vendors! Hangar 24 is an amazing place to bring the family and enjoy St. Patrick’s Day outdoors in Orange County. It’s free admission, and even better news is that parking is really easy to find. If you want to try some delicious farm-to-table food, head over to Tanaka Farms and enjoy an amazing luncheon on the top of the hilltop. Be sure to try out the corned beef and bangers, fresh organic salad, and delicious dessert. After the meal, the kids can take advantage of the open green space and farm tours. It would be a great time to pick up some fruits and vegetables. This is truly a family-friendly St Patrick’s Day event!

Start your St. Patrick’s celebration by heading over to the Paseo in Mission Viejo for a fun night out! The event will have a scavenger hunt, food trucks, 45 vendors, live music, fun free games, a slime station, and a beer garden. The parking is free! The event is family-friendly and it’s a great place to pick up some great food! Oh, just don’t forget to wear green! Truly a fun-filled celebration in Orange County!
