Back to the Future: The Musical

Back to the Future, the iconic movie we all know and love, is hitting the stage as a Broadway musical—and it’s coming to Costa Mesa in 2025 starting this Friday, January 3.

This award-winning production, including the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, brings the time-traveling adventure to life with original music by Grammy winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, plus all the hits from the movie like “The Power of Love” and “Johnny B. Goode.”

Follow Marty McFly as he’s accidentally sent back to 1955 in Doc Brown’s time machine and scrambles to fix history, save the future, and make it back home. This musical promises to be as electrifying as the DeLorean at 88mph. Don’t miss it!

Orange County Fun Run

Ready to hit the pavement? Meet up at Sports Basement Orange County on January 5 for a fun morning run! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just out for a casual jog, the 3-5 mile fun runs are perfect for everyone. It’s a great way to meet fellow runners, enjoy the fresh air, and occasionally check out demos and gear from top running shoe brands (think giveaways and the latest tech). Meet out front at 7:45am, and things will kick off at 8am.

Monster Jam

Get ready for high-octane fun at Monster Jam on January 4 & 5! Watch as monster trucks compete in thrilling races, epic skills challenges, and jaw-dropping freestyle events. Plus, don’t miss the Pit Party, where you can meet the drivers and see the trucks up close. It’s an action-packed experience for fans of all ages!
