Christmas Train at Irvine Regional Park

Make A Christmas Carol part of your holiday season! Whether it’s your first time or a family tradition, this heartwarming tale of Ebenezer Scrooge is packed with festive music, joyful dancing, and all the holiday feels.

When: Previews Nov. 30–Dec. 5 | Performances Dec. 6–24, 2024
Special ASL Performance: Dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m.

Free Miniature Train Rides at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa

Hop aboard the North Pole Express for a magical miniature train ride through Fairview Park! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, December 21st & 22nd, from 10 AM to 3:30 PM, as the Orange County Model Engineers bring this festive journey to life. This free event is a family favorite, so lines might get busy, but their amazing volunteers will ensure a smooth and safe ride. Don’t miss this holiday treat—weather permitting, of course!

Laguna Niguel Library: Teen/Adult Sewing Workshop

Get creative at the Laguna Niguel Library‘s sewing workshop! Happening this Saturday at 2, teens and adults can bring their projects for feedback or start something new. Perfect for honing your skills or diving into a fresh idea, this open lab is a welcoming space to stitch and learn.

Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

The Ring of Lights in Newport Beach is a holiday spectacle you won’t want to miss this Sunday at 6pm! Homes along the Christmas Boat Parade route go all out with dazzling decorations, from rooftop animations to glittering light displays. Stroll through waterfront neighborhoods like Balboa Island or enjoy the view from a boat for a magical holiday experience.

Deck the Halls (and the Stacks) Aboard The Queen Mary

Santa’s docking at The Queen Mary! Celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas (Dec. 12–23) with festive fun for the whole family. From cookie decorating and gingerbread houses to dance parties, story time with Mrs. Claus, and photos with Santa, there’s something magical every day. 

Special events include the Lighting of the Stacks, a snowy Snow Day, and even a spooky Krampus After Dark! Don’t forget to find those mischievous Elves on the Shelves for a chance to win prizes.
