June really flew by! And I can’t believe the Fourth of July is just around the corner! With the holiday fast approaching, I’ve put together a list of places in Orange County that will have firework displays. I hope you can find one that works for you because with the perfect weather and cool temperatures at night, the Fourth this year will be a fantastic holiday! No matter what your holiday plans are, I hope you have another great week and a safe Fourth!

Here are all the great activities happening this week in Orange County!

Sawdust Festival

It’s time for the 58th Annual Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach! This year, there will be artist booths that show off and sell their amazing artwork! And there’s also outdoor dining, festival classes, and live entertainment making this a great event to learn and watch artists make beautiful and creative art! The event starts on June 28 at 11:00am!

Star Wars Day OC Zoo

Make your way to the OC Zoo for a one-day Star Wars event! A highlight of the year, be sure to come out and enjoy crafts, games, and photo opportunities! The first 100 children under 12 years of age and wearing Star Wars costumes will get a free train ride around the park! The event will be held on June 29 from 10am – 3pm. See you there!

OC ShakesBeer Festival

Head over to the Sea Terrace Park for the first annual ShakesBeer event on June 29 and 30! Attendees will enjoy craft beers, food, a bounce house, a DJ, and local artisans. At the end of the festival, they will put on the play “The Tempest”.

Independence Day Celebration

If you want an extra day of celebration and fireworks head over to the OC Fairgrounds to enjoy food and drink at the event. Make sure to bring your blanket or chairs for the event.

TNT Fireworks Booth

If you want to set off some fireworks this year, head over to the OC Fairgrounds. The stand will be open from 12pm – 10pm on June 30. The proceeds will be going towards the Costa Mesa High School baseball team!

Salute To America

If you feel like celebrating our country’s independence early head over to Cypress College for a fireworks display on Friday, July 1 at 5:30pm! The event will have food trucks, and live music, and be tons of fun for the whole family!

Live Music On The Porch

If you love live music head over to the Ranch and listen to some great music! The event will be from 4 pm – 8 pm and it’s a free event. If you’re hungry the Ranch is also a great place to grab a bite! I recommend trying the burger or nachos!
